Barcis Lake is located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the province of Pordenone. The protected territory surrounding the village of Barcis offers the possibility to make short trips in the nearby trails allowing visitors to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

One of the most beautiful things to do at Lake Barcis is undoubtedly have a walk in the Dint path, the most beautiful and scenic trek on the lake.
The Dint path is just over 4 kilometers long and, including photos, the travel time is about two hours with 130 meters of elevation gain.
The path is not demanding and is suitable for everyone: you will enjoy amazing views with minimal efforts.
Beautiful and as yet unspoilt Lago di Barcis sits at the gateway to the dolomites. Emerging from the series of tunnels which lead to the area one feels ones spirits lift as you take in the amazing colours and views of the lake with its mountain range backdrop.
The water colour is stunning, and the lake is surrounded by a fresh and clean environment. It is like stumbling upon a gem while wandering around the desert. This is a wonderful spot to visit on a hot summer day as it always seems to be cool and refreshing here.
You’ll arrive at the Third Belvedere and finally enjoy the view around the lake. You are at 531 meters and from the top of the panoramic tower. The 360 ° view over Lake Barcis, the gorge of the Cellina stream, Mount Fora and the town of Andreis.
