Private Hotel Buyouts in Italy

The hotel is reserved for one company for the week.

When eighty people need to stay, meet and dine in one place, the question is no longer simply how many rooms a hotel has. The property itself has to work for the programme.

What a buyout actually is

The hotel becomes the address for the week.

A buyout is not a large room block. The property is reserved for the group, with the programme organised around it. Room inventory matters because the right room mix has to work for the whole group. Private dining matters because eighty people arriving at eight changes how a kitchen works. Staff rooms matter because the programme team also has to sleep somewhere. Ten vans at the door is not two guests arriving by car.

  • 01 The whole house
  • 02 Enough rooms, in the right mix
  • 03 Rooms for the programme team
  • 04 A dining room that can turn
  • 05 Meeting rooms
  • 06 A kitchen for the whole house
  • 07 How people arrive and leave
  • 08 Where the vans stand
  • 09 What the days outside the hotel are
  • 10 Guest movement
  • 11 Privacy
  • 12 Someone on site

Not every hotel can do all of this. We confirm that against the building, not against a brochure.

Private Alpine Hotel Buyout

Summer in the Alps.

The week was for a hundred international guests, with the whole house, dining at the same hour, cars at the door and someone on site. The group needed a mountain hotel that could do all of that and still feel like a place, not a conference centre.

OHH! ITALY ran the week as one operation. Hotel, client, rates and contracts are not published. This refers to a completed OHH! ITALY programme.

What is a full hotel buyout?

The available house is reserved for one group for agreed dates. Other guests are not in the corridors. What that actually includes depends on the hotel.

How far in advance should a hotel buyout be planned?

As early as the dates exist. Large houses in peak months go first. A winter ski week and a quiet Tuesday in November are not the same search.

Can OHH! ITALY source the property?

Yes. We look for hotels that can sleep the number, feed them, park the vans, and still work as a place to spend a week.

Can the hotel be configured around our programme?

Sometimes. Dedicated dining, meeting rooms, staff rooms and how people arrive can be asked for. The building answers, not the wish list.

Do you also manage transportation and activities?

Yes, when the week needs it: airport cars, the dining hour, a day outside the hotel, and someone at the door.

How do we begin a buyout search?

Dates, numbers, a region if you have one, and whether the group needs the whole house. We start with which buildings can take that, before anyone talks rates.

Start with the dates and the numbers.

Tell us whether the group needs the whole house. We begin with the building, not with a rate sheet.
