The route opens in Rome and Florence, continues to Lake Como, and leaves Italy for Lugano and Zürich. Rail connects the cities. The border is the point of the journey.

Lake Como is the last Italian lake on this route. Lugano is the first Swiss one. Zürich closes the journey by rail. Another night can be added on the lake or in Switzerland when the dates allow.

DAY 1

Arrival In Rome

Private arrival transfer from Rome Fiumicino Airport to a central Rome hotel. The first day is designed for a soft landing: discreet meet-and-greet, Mercedes van transfer, luggage coordination and time to settle into the city before the cultural program begins.

DAY 2

Vatican, Sistine Chapel & Ancient Rome

An early private guided experience begins at the Vatican Museums, with time dedicated to the Sistine Chapel before continuing toward the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The day is paced around timed entries, cultural context and a smooth transfer between the two major sites.

Dress code and ID requirements are handled in advance so the experience remains fluid and discreet.

DAY 3

Rome To Florence By First-Class Rail

After a final Roman morning, the journey continues by high-speed train to Florence. The transfer is arranged around first-class rail comfort and a central arrival, allowing the Tuscan chapter to begin without unnecessary friction.

DAY 4

Florence, The Accademia & The Duomo

A private Florence morning focuses on the Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo’s David, followed by the Duomo complex and the historic center. The day is intentionally concise: enough depth to feel Florence’s artistic weight, without overloading the itinerary.

DAY 5

Florence To Milan And Lake Como

The route turns north by train, connecting Florence to Milan and onward to Como. This chapter shifts the atmosphere from Renaissance city to lakeside elegance, with a hotel overlooking Lake Como and time to absorb the softer rhythm of the water.

DAY 6

Como, Lugano And Zürich

The last day leaves Lake Como, crosses into Switzerland at Lugano, and continues by rail toward Zürich. Lugano is the first Swiss lake, and Zürich is the rail close. If the party wants time in Zürich, that close can take another night.

On request, this route can be extended with extra nights on Lake Como, a private boat experience, a Milan design stop, or a longer Swiss continuation.
